Singapore and Brazil IP Offices Hold Sharing Session

Mr Daren Tang, Chief Executive of IPOS, received President Luíz Octavío Pimentel of Brazil’s National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) at IPOS on 8 May. During President Pimentel’s visit, the two IP offices shared how their offices encourage innovation in their respective countries. For example, IPOS presented its initiatives to equip professionals with IP and innovation management skills, such as the Master of IP and Innovation Management programme, which has seen applicants from diverse industries. In exchange, INPI discussed their digitalisation efforts to enhance application processes. Such mutually beneficial exchanges strengthen IPOS’ global connections, building a network that enhance Singaporean businesses’ capability to grow globally.
