China’s State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) has recently promulgated the Regulation on the Protection of Trade Secrets (the "Regulation"). Effective from June 1 this year, the Regulation will replace the Several Provisions on Prohibiting Infringements upon Trade Secrets, which has been in force for over 30 years.
