The National Work Conference of IPR System on Government Affairs held in Haikou

On May 16, the National Work Conference of IPR System on Government Affairs was held in Haikou. Liao Tao, Member of CPC Leadership Group and Deputy Head of SIPO said at the conference that in 2017, the national IPR system scored the following remarkable progress:
First, the role as advisor and assistant became more prominent;
Second, the work to push forward implementation becomes more effective;
Third, the major layout of publicity work is further formed;
Fourth, the comprehensive service is further upgraded to a higher level.
Liao Tao proposed that the IPR undertaking is faced with unprecedented opportunities in the new age, but the new and higher requirements are also raised for the work about government affairs of IPR. The national IPR system still need to improve its capability and level in government affair-related work and work well in implementing its three major functions of “involvement in government affairs, administration and comprehensive service”.
