The 2018 IP International Symposium Held in Korea

On April 25th, the IPTAB (Korean Intellectual Property Trial and Appeal Board) 2018 IP International Symposium was held in Seoul, Korea and representatives from the Japan Patent Office (JPO) including Ms. Imamura, Director-General of the Trial and Appeal Department of the JPO, attended the Symposium.
In this symposium, representatives from the European Patent Office (EPO), the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China (SIPO), in addition to the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) which is a host of the symposium, attended the symposium. Ms. Imamura, Director-General of the Trial and Appeal Department of the JPO, delivered a speech on the current efforts made by the Trial and Appeal Department of the JPO and participated in a panel discussion.
