With KIPO Cooperation, the UAE Launches an Industrial Property Automation System

On February 28, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Economy hosted a ceremony to announce the launch of an industrial property automation system. KIPO’s automation system technology will enable the entire process of UAE’s industrial property administration to be handled online, including patent and design application, examination, registration, and fees. Accordingly, UAE companies and individuals will have 24 hour access to online filing and fee payment and experience a significantly improved patent application process.
