The EPO and the French National Industrial Property Office (INPI) have signed a three-year bilateral co-operation plan. The agreement, which provides a framework for collaboration in areas such as IT projects and training, was signed by EPO President Benoit Battistelli and INPI Director General Romain Soubeyran in Munich recently. The co-operation plan covers a range of activities including training and events, exchange of best practice in patent examination, online filing, e-learning, IP diagnostics and access to post-grant legal status information through the Federated Register.
