XYLink Sued by Polycom for 100 Million yuan Copyright Compensation

As the copyright owner of Polycom RealPresense Desktop and Polycom RealPresense Mobile, Polycom found that the video call product – XYLINK released jointly by Beijing Xiaoyuzaijia Technology Co., Ltd. and  XYLink Inc. has duplicated and copied the source code of Polycom’s video call software in several aspects including software architecture, programing interface, etc., infringing Polycom’s copyright. Therefore, Polycom asked the court to rule that the above said companies immediately stop the infringement behavior and bear the joint liability by compensating 100 million yuan for the economic loss and reasonable cost of Polycom. The case is under further investigation.
