Duba Anti-virus to Pay 2345.com More than RMB 3 Million for Unfair Competition

Since 2014, the software of Duba Anti-virus falsified the homepage of 2345.com set by users to duba.com during the installment, operation and uninstalling of the software without authorization, causing an unfair infringement dispute. On Aug 10 of 2017, the People’s court of Pudong New District, Shanghai municipal made the first-instance judgment that Beijing Cheetah Mobile Inc. and other two defendants should stop the infringement behavior immediately, publish related announcement in its three subsidiary websites for 30 days in order to eliminate the effects and jointly compensate the plaintiff Shanghai 2345 Internet Technology Co., Ltd. more than RMB 3 million yuan for economic loss.
