The 20th Information Technology Experts (ITE) Meeting between the JPO and KIPO Was Held

Recently, the 20th Information Technology Experts (ITE) Meeting between the Japan Patent Office (JPO) and the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) was held at the JPO in Tokyo.
This Meeting was attended by Mr. Yoichi Gotani, Director-General of the Patent Examination Department (Chemistry, Life Science and Material Science) of the JPO, Mr. Kibeom Kim, Director, Information and Customer Policy Division of KIPO and their colleagues.
At the Meeting, the JPO and KIPO exchanged information and opinion on various topics in the field of information technology, such as Global Dossier, machine translation, exchanges of patent information, etc. Furthermore, the JPO and KIPO intensively discussed regarding the future direction of bilateral cooperation between the JPO and KIPO.
