National Digital Copyright Research Base unveiled

The National Digital Copyright Research Base was recently opened at Peking University, which is based on the interaction of politics, industry, study and research.

It is reported that, the base will integrate all kinds of resources in government, industry and academic circle and strive to enhance the deeper and broader development of theory research and practice in China's digital copyright sector.

After its establishment, the base will build up a digital copyright theory research platform, step into the study of relevant laws and policies, and actively participate in the study of international conventions and rules related to digital copyright.

In addition, it will offer legislative and policy consultations for governmental departments and hold practical trainings on copyright for relevant industries.
