On June 30, Nanning Municipal Intermediate People's Court convened a news release conference on the problems of how to exert IPR judgment function and provide service to China-ASEAN Expo. The related officials named Jiang Zhiwen and Zhang Xiaoqing from Nanning Municipal Intermediate People's Court attended the meeting.

Zhang Xiaoqing introduced the working situation of IP judgments. She said, Nanning Municipal Intermediate People's Court is the only intermediate court that has right to manage patents, new varieties of plants, layout-designs of integrated circuits and well-known trademarks cases in Guangxi, and also manage the cases of copyright, trademark right, technical contract, and unfair competition in their administration area.

Jiang Zhiwen said, the third civil division of Nanning Municipal Intermediate People's Court adopted a series of measures to meet the challenges of increasing cases, responsibilities and judgments difficulties.

Zhang announced that Nanning Municipal Intermediate People's Court serves overall situation and China-ASEAN Expo by exerting IP judgments function, firstly understand enterprises' requirements by consultation and visiting; secondly adjust judgment ways and strive to mediate cases; the third is to strengthen cooperation with the administrative law enforcement departments; the last is to fairly and efficiently solve the IPR cases concerned with ASEAN and enhance the IPR judicial protection of China-ASEAN Expo.                                                Source:  SIPO.gov.cn
