Heritage takes center stage in Jianhu county

The first stage show in China that combines the national intangible cultural heritage items Jianhu acrobatics and Chinese poetry will debut on Oct 13 in Jianhu county. Executives from the show's producers, the Jiangsu Provincial Acrobatic Troupe, said the show is different from previous acrobatic performances because it focuses more on telling a story and creating characters. They added that the show is their latest attempt to promote intangible cultural heritage.
