Education authority releases patent applications and grants of 100 universities

On its official site, Science & Technology Development Center of the Ministry of Education lately publicized three kinds of data, namely, patent applications and grants of 100 universities, valid patent amount and patent grants in 2008 of 100 universities, and the amount of patent grants of all universities in China from 1985 to 2008.
Those data come from "Report on Intellectual Properties of Chinese Universities (2008)", which was written by Science & Technology Development Center of the Ministry of Education.
In which, Zhejiang University's total application amount in 1985-2007, total grant amount in 1985-2008, valid patent amount in 2008 and patent grant amount in 2008 all rank first among universities throughout the nation.
Being compiled into two parts, the "Report on Intellectual Properties of Chinese Universities (2008)" comprehensively collects IP-related data and materials of China's universities and shows the outline of IP-related work in domestic universities.
The first part includes basic data, IP management, IP investment and output, patented technology transfer, copyright situation, mark-related IP situation, IP education, etc..
And the second part covers the research, analysis and discussion on IP issues concerned by universities. Its contents refer to analysis on right safeguarding period of invention patent rights, analysis on patent investment and output, analysis on patented technology transfer, analysis on copyright authorization model, analysis on mark-related IP situation, IP education and talent cultivation, IP management in foreign universities, and so on.
