
From June 18 to 21, Bureau of Planning and Development under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) and Department of Policy, Regulations and Reform under the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) jointly convened a workshop for central firms on their independent innovation ability construction.
Director and Deputy Director of MOST's Department of Policy, Regulations and Reform Mei Yonghong and Li Xinnan and Vice Director of SASAC's Bureau of Planning and Development Bai Ying attended and addressed the opening ceremony.
About 130 persons consisting of relevant principals from 70 central firms and S&T management departments took part in the workshop as well.
The workshop aims to strengthen the communication and exchange of S&T information among central enterprises, discuss hot and difficult issues in developing scientific and technological innovation work of central enterprises under the financial crisis, and promote continuous improvement of the independent innovation capacity of central enterprises.
During the workshop, some renowned experts were invited to participate in, which were from governmental departments like National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Finance, MOST, State Administration of Taxation and SASAC, universities, enterprises and so on.
Participants were trained on the explanation of independent innovation policies, enterprises' IP strategies, innovation system construction in large enterprises and how to enhance independent innovation capacity of central firms.
After the meeting, deputies from central firms expressed that this workshop is not only a chance to elevate the theory level of independent innovation-related policies, but also an exchange opportunity to raise recognition and strengthen friendship. Source: IPR in China |
