China's first copyright protection, exhibition and trading center of national characteristic folk culture opened on June 4, showcasing more than 110 cultural products, including 11 miniature replicas of the Forbidden City made by intangible cultural heritage inheritor Zhao Guangzhi. Some 30 exhibits were sold that day. Located at the Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park in Shunyi district, the center plans to collect 10,000 pieces of folk handicrafts and promote 50 cultural items annually.
