Recently, the Zhongshan Customs seized a number of 3,769 units of split type air conditioners in alleged violation of "GENERAL" trademark in Xiaolan Port, in the value of RMB5.66 million, becoming the largest infringement case subject to Zhongshan Customs since the "clearing wind" campaign, and also the largest infringement case in value of these years subject to Zhongshan Customs. A company in Zhongshan City declared the export of 3,769 units of split type air conditioners in total value of USD 871,700 (equivalent to RMB5.66 million) to Zhongshan Customs, upon confirmation by the right holders, and this batch of split type air conditioners was in alleged violation of "GENERAL" trademark whose right holder Fujitsu had registered the trademark with the General Administration of Customs for record purpose. Currently, the Customs has lawfully detained the goods involved, and the case is under further investigation.
