Ten Cases of IPRs published by the Supreme Procuratorate

On 5 May 2016, the Supreme Procuratorate published the “Ten Typical Cases of IPR Protection Submitted to Procurators in 2015”, including violations of trade secrets, copyright infringement, trademark counterfeiting, trademark rights disputes, invention patent infringement and other types of intellectual property cases. According to the statistics from the Supreme Procuratorate, in 2015 the procuratorial organs approved the arrest of 4,445 persons in 2,615 criminal cases involving IPR infringemen, prosecuted 8,025 persons in 4,484 public prosecution cases, which shows that the efforts to crack down IPR crimes are increasing.
