These debates feature key experts from the European Union and China discussing the issues that shape today’s IP landscape. Protection of Well-known Trade Marks: finding a common rationale between the EU and China

IP Key’s fifth IP Café held in partnership with Peking University Law School and Peking University Science and Technology Law Research Centre will focus on 'Protection of Well-known Trade Marks: finding a common rationale between the EU and China’. The discussions will engage Chinese and EU speakers on the policy reasons that led to the development of special legal frameworks for the protection of trade marks with reputation, exploring how the two legal systems address their legal and operational aspects in the practice.

Subway directions: Take line 4 to East Gate of Peking University Station and leave from Exit A. Turn left to enter the side East gate (NOT Main East Gate). Head straight for 100 meters, and take the first right turn. The building is approximately 200 meters ahead on the right. The Koguan building entrance is opposite the Micro & nanoelectronics building.
Taxi direction: The side-East gate is along North Zhongguancun road.
