Inner Mongolia convened symposium on IP judicial and administrative protection work

Lately, Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region convened a symposium on IP judicial and administrative protection work at the Higher People's Court of Inner Mongolia. At the symposium, headed by the Higher People's Court, the joint conference mechanism on IP judicial protection work was established, consisting of 13 relevant entities including the People's Procuratorate of the Autonomous Region, the Public Security Department, Legal Affairs Office of the People's Government of the Autonomous Region, the Science and Technology Department, the Press and Publication Bureau, etc..

The President of the Higher People's Court of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Wang Weishan proposed three opinions on advancing IP judicial protection work. First, actively response to the new orientation and requirements on IP judicial protection regulated in Outline on National IP Strategy; second, positively answer the new test and challenges on IP judicial protection under such global financial crisis; third, reply to the new requirements and expectation from the people on IP judicial protection.

Wang Weishan denoted that, the joint conference on IP judicial protection and the establishment of the long-term work exchange mechanism integrated the strength of the member units to protect IPRs. The Higher People's Court should safeguard the fair market order and create favorable legal environment for the development of the economy and society of Inner Mongolia together with other member units.
