Jiangsu has started process of application of well-known brands. Any enterprises that meet the requirements can apply for the title in Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision before July 10.

Jiangsu famous brands include agricultural ones (food included), manufacturing ones (traditional handicrafts included), and service ones. This year the evaluation of famous brands aims at optimizing resource allocation and adjusting the structure of three industries. Agricultural enterprises, organizations and associations are encouraged to cooperate which can integrate agricultural resources of Jiangsu province.
In order to realize a new path to industrialization, we must study and master core technology in fields of Electronic Communication, modern equipment, biomedicine and new material. We also need to own dependent innovation and competitive brands wit high technology.

As is required by Jiangsu Municipal Committee and Jiangsu Municipal People's Government, modern service industry should be enhanced to be more competitive and contributive. So a series of brands in service industry will be mainly supported such as in finance, tourism, information service and so on.
