Fuzhou recognized for intellectual property development

Fuzhou city in Fujian province is ranked seventh among 25 division-level cities across China in terms of intellectual property development, according to a ranking list released by the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO).


The ranking surveyed 41 cities in the country which have been honored as demonstration cities for intellectual property performance. Fuzhou took the 7th place with an overall score of 82.5 points.


As of July 2014, Fuzhou had obtained 4,719 patents, the most among cities in Fujian province, figures showed.
