Guangdong Patent Incentives Measures will be Implemented since October 1st

Recently, Guangdong provincial government announced that the Guangdong Patent Incentives Measures (the Measures) will be officially put into effect since October 1st 2014. According to the Measures, the incentives provided by Guangdong province since 2003 shall all be upgraded from the department level to provincial level. Besides, the province particularly set up the “Guangdong Inventors Award” to encourage and reward both prominent projects and inventors, and the award can be embodied no more than 10 projects or inventors in total per time. By expanding the range of rewards, the Measures is a major breakthrough and effective supplement for “China Patent Award.”
