Registered Trademark “菲妮迪FEINIDI” Infringement Case Settled

Hangzhou Feinidi Int'l Fashion Co., Ltd. (Feinidi Company) is a fashion company producing and selling garments with the brand “FINITY,” and also opens mall counters in many shopping malls in Shanghai. However, Mr. Li, the right owner of registered trademark “菲妮迪FEINIDI” sued Feinidi Company, claiming that the use of character “菲妮迪” by Feinidi Company constituted infringement and asked the company to stop the infringement immediately and pay compensation of 500,000 yuan for economic loss. Recently, Shanghai Yangpu District People’s Court dismissed Mr. Li’s claims.
