Since it came out in this March, the sales volume of “This is the Best Chinese Book in China” (the best Chinese book) had been rising, and the book had become the best Chinese book of many readers. However, this collective book which encompassed famous Chinese and foreign masterpieces, such as the works of E•B•White, Franz Kafka, Mo Yan, Wang Anyi and so on, was involved in a copyright lawsuit because nine of its total articles had not been authorized by the relevant writers.
