Youku Tudou Inc. sued iQiYi.com and PPStream for piracy and claimed compensation of 15.7 million yuan

Youku Tudou Inc. announced on July 8th that it had formally filed 30 lawsuits against iQiYi.com and PPStream for their piracy of the TV series whose exclusive licenses belong to Youku Tudou Inc. to Beijing Haidian District Court and Shanghai Xuhui District Court respectively. The TV series involved in this case include five TVB dramas such as House of Harmony and Vengeance, The Last Steep Aliment, The Condor Heroes etc., and a series of domestic popular dramas. The claiming amount is up to 15.7 million yuan.
