Final judgment on the “Kobe” trademark dispute ended up with the approval of registration

The international company Nike Inc. instituted an administrative lawsuit after it failed in its objection to the trademark “科比 KB-KOBE” and the review of adjudication on its objection. This case has recently gone through the final judgment in the Beijing Higher People's Court. According to the final decision, the court held that the appeal lodged by Nike Inc. was untenable. The trademark “科比 KB-KOBE” applied for the registration by Mr. Hong was eventually maintained.
