Tibet to launch digital version of ICH projects

2014/07/04

Tibet is home to abundant intangible cultural heritages. Since 2013, it has started digitizing its ICH projects to revive those century-old arts. After a large number of ICH projects were included into a data base, the public could review interesting topics and Tibetan cultural traditions at any time.

Currently, Tibet has nearly 800 ICH projects and 68 inheritors included in the national ICH list, and 323 projects and 350 inheritors in the regional list.
