2014/06/05

Recently, Perfect (China) Co., Ltd. has submitted a litigation against Beijing 55Tuan Information Technology Co., Ltd. to the court. Perfect (China) Co., Ltd. alleged that in 2013 it found many messages about aloe vera gel on 55tuan website which organized customers to buy the thirty-eight-yuan aloe vera gel in groups at a lower price of 8.8 yuan or 8.9 yuan. And the aloe vera gel 55tuan used the same logo as that of Perfect China. Therefore it believed that 55tuan had seriously infringed its exclusive right to use a registered trademark and claimed compensation of totaling 550,000 yuan. On the morning of May 29th, Haidian People’s Court accepted this trademark dispute. At present, the case is under further investigation.
