The Third Branch of Beijing Procuratorate: Strengthening the Protection of Internet IPR

The recent years has witnessed the growing disputes in the field of Internet IPR occurring in more than a dozen domestic well-known websites under the jurisdiction of the third branch of Beijing Municipal Procuratorate. Recently, the branch has established a coordination mechanism with Internet Society of China and its Mediation Center, jointly issued Strengthen Intellectual Property Protection Cooperation Minutes and Opinions on Strengthening Intellectual Property Protection Cooperation as well as established “Legal Supervision Research Practice Base” in five Internet companies to strengthen IP protection.
