“Arxan mineral water” is likely to be allowed for trademark registration

After the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board of State Administration for Industry and Commerce (TRAB) rejected the application for trademark registration of “Arxan mineral water” on the ground of its adverse social effects, the producer of Arxan mineral water, Inner Mongolia Lanhai Mineral Water Co., Ltd (Lanhai Mineral Water Company) took an administrative proceeding against it. Beijing First Intermediate People’s Court recently announced the first instance judgment which dismissed the decision on review of refused trademark application.
