The European Union's Observatory on Infringement of Intellectual Property Rights has launched a survey on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights in third countries.
The survey, which runs until 10 June 2014, is being conducted by the Observatory for the European Commission's Directorate General Trade (DG Trade).
DG Trade will use the information analyse the situation in various third countries and compile reports on IP enforcement both in general and in individual countries. This analysis will help the EC to prepare for negotiations and discussions with these countries.
Users of the IP system are invited to participate.
