Chengdu draws up a ban of naming the roads after products, trademarks etc.

The regulations of Geographic Names in Chengdu (Draft) aiming to draw up a ban of using the the product names, trademark names etc. as the road names seeks for public opinions. The Draft proposes that it is forbidden generally that the urban public facilities such as road, bridge, tunnel, rail site are named after persons, overseas places, Chinese and foreign enterprises, products, trademarks etc.
