Shandong: Liaocheng filed 2,946 patent applications

According to Liaocheng Intellectual Property Office, in 2013, the city saw its patent applications and grants reach 2,946 and 1,915, increasing by 29.92% and 35.91% respectively.


As an important indicator weighing technological development and innovative capacity, invention patent filings and grants in the city hit 627 and 251, growing by 32.56% and 15.14%. In addition, patent applications under PCT doubled to four.
