In a bid to promote the trademark development in 2014, Xuchang Administration for Industry and Commerce made several working plans on implementing trademark strategies soon after the Chinese traditional festival, the Spring Festival.
It urged to enhance education on trademark knowledge and regulations to raise the protection awareness of the public and local enterprises. It also planned to intensify training to explain the importance of registering trademarks, particularly famous and well-known trademarks to entrepreneurs. Relevant enforcement departments were required to cooperate with large-scale enterprises to severely combat trademark infringing activities.
