Zhejiang: Haining rendered 3.8 mln yuan to award patent pioneers

In 2013, Haining, a city in Zhejiang province, allocated a total of 3.8 million yuan as award to patent filers and pioneers, 3,432,400 yuan of which went to filers of 2590 patents and 29,000 yuan to pilot enterprises and exemplary towns and 77,800 yuan to receivers making prominent contribution in this regard.


Last year, patent applications in the city reached 4,440, up 28.85%, in which 476 were on inventions, up 98.33%, 1,157 on utility models and 2,807 on designs, while patent grants hit 2,590 with 76 on inventions, up 16.92%, 884 on utility models and 1,630 on designs.
