Internet of Things company settles in ITL

The inauguration ceremony of Huateng Internet of Things Co Ltd in the Xi’an International Trade and Logistics Park (ITL) and also a conference concerning the “Intelligent Life” project were held on Dec 26 at the ITL in Xi’an, capital of Shaanxi province.


About 200 people attended the ceremony, including Han Song, deputy mayor of Xi’an city and secretary of the ITL Party committee, Chen Songlin, deputy secretary-general of Xi’an government, and delegates from the Xi’an office of the Kazakhstan Integration International Fund.


Qiang Xiaoan, the director of the ITL management committee, welcomed Huateng to ITL, and Yue Kaiduan, president of the company, gave a speech.


He said the company’s core strength of management and innovation are mainly supported by Xi’an Jiaotong University, the Northwestern Polytechnical University and the Second Artillery Engineering University.


The company focuses on Internet of Things products for people’s everyday use and security systems. The former mainly concern the remote management of home life and property, such as energy-saving monitoring systems, client software, server software and light-control switches. The latter mainly concern reservoir safety monitoring and flood alert monitoring systems.


Huateng has applied for over 20 patents, including 12 related to products of the Internet of Things.
