Anhui: Liu’an performed well in patent applications and grants

From January to November, patent applications and grants in Liu’an, a city in Anhui province, reached 3,471 and 2,438, up 80% and 60% respectively, both of which fulfilled the assigned targets in advance.

In recent years, local government has attached great importance to indigenous innovations and launched a series of favorable policies to stimulate creations. Its patent applications and grants on inventions accumulated to 746 and 112, up 80% and 143% separately in the first eleven months, with the growth rate ranking the second among its peers in the province.
