A conference about intellectual property cooperation in the pan-Pearl River Delta region was held last week in Guiyang. More than 60 delegates called for closer cross-regional collaboration in administrative enforcement, patent information exchanges and public service in IP. Over the recent decade, the eight provinces and one autonomous region, as well as Hong Kong and Macao in the area have established patent commercialization and personnel exchange mechanisms in addition to conducting many cooperation programs.
