Founded in 1993, Cheezheng Industrial Group Co Ltd is a large-scale national medication group incorporating scientific research, industrialization and trading. The Group owns ten enterprises, including three GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) pharmacies, one research institute and two GSP (Good Supply Practice) operation companies. There are more than nine hundred employees working in the group.
Cheezheng Group is dedicated to inheriting and innovating traditional Tibetan medication, and has now come up with three high-quality Tibetan medicine series, namely, external adhesive plaster, Tibetan medicinal bathing essence, and traditional Tibetan medication. It owns eight patent technologies, fifty-four Tibetan medicines, one Qinghai-Tibet green health products, five of them are awarded as “state protected brands for traditional Chinese medicine”. The series of Tibetan medication such as Cheezheng Pain Relieving Plaster have won international awards like golden prizes in the Geneva International Invention Exposition.
Cheezheng Group persists in sustainable development. Based on the environment-protecting philosophy of “developing modern Tibetan medication and maintaining biological equilibrium”, the group has built a natural medication protection base in Milin county in southeast Tibet, to protect the precious herbal medication on Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
Cheezheng Group’s thirty sales branches are distributed all over China. Its sales volume has exceeded 200 million Yuan ($32.7 million) in 2002, and then the sales volume keeps growing continuously.
