Experienced practitioners of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) arbitration, including the Vice-Chairman of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, are set to take part in an ICC roundtable at Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai on February 15, 2009.
The roundtable is to highlight the latest developments in arbitration legislation and practices in the Gulf region which is becoming the primary tool used for dispute resolution.
The program of the one-day event commences with a look at the latest ICC Arbitration trends, statistics and updates followed by the arbitration outlook for the Gulf region.
With a particular focus on the United Arab Emirates, the roundtable will examine several aspects of arbitration including legislation developments and enforcement of arbitral awards.
The event is the first of its kind in the region and follows the success of similar roundtables in Dublin and Buenos Aires.
