Shanxi has over 140 patent agents

Of all 99 entries taking part in the national qualification examination of patent agents in Shanxi in 2012, as many as 18 candidates passed the exam and succeeded in obtaining the qualification certification of patent agents, setting a historical record and making the total number of qualified patent agents hit over 140, in which, 39 held the practicing certificate of patent agents.

Shanxi Intellectual Property Office has been paying great attention to patent commissioning work and it contributed to the rapid growth of the number of patent agents by conducting a series of workshops and training courses, which significantly enhanced the professionalism of patent practitioners in the province.
