Recently, a total of 30 preliminary and middle school students in Funan County, Anhui province were selected to participate in training courses on classical music, drama and dancing to learn and pass down local intangible cultural heritages.
The training is jointly conducted by Funan government, local culture center and No.1 Vocational High School. They plan to recruit a batch of trainees majoring in classical music, traditional dancing, folk literature and art, and offer them free professional courses, an action expected to cultivate a number of literary and artistic talents and enhance the protection of local intangible cultural heritages.
