Guangdong IPO and Zhaoqing IPO launched joint enforcement inspection

Lately, Guangdong Provincial Intellectual Property Office (IPO) and Zhaoqing Municipal Intellectual Property Office (IPO) formed a joint law enforcement inspection team to inspect a scaled pharmaceutical chain enterprises located in urban district.

Law enforcers inspected more than 500 boxes (pieces) of drugs and medical devices in the drug store and made patent retrieval for the drugs and devices bearing patent identifications. During the process, law enforcers popularized patent knowledge among relevant managerial persons of the pharmaceutical company and explained the precautions about patent marking in a bid to raise their resolving ability to fake patented products and help them to prevent counterfeit patented products from entering the market.

The launch of the joint law enforcement inspection further improved the capability of Zhaoqing in IP law enforcement, normalized the order of patented product market and received a good social effect.
