Days ago, Bozhou People’s Government of Xinjiang set up a leading group fighting against IP infringement and the manufacture and distribution of shoddy items, which was headed by the Bureau of Commerce and consisted of over 20 agencies. As one of the major members, Bozhou Intellectual Property Office paid much attention to this action and would actively act in concert with the lead unit.

The action will last for 40 days and go on in five areas including food, cultural market, agriculture, building material and import and export, particularly the food, drugs and agricultural materials directly damaging the vital interest of the masses. Currently, the action has been underway in Wenquan County, Jinghe County, Alashankou, and among others. During the first ten days, 20 or so cases were put on recorded and staged achievements were made.

During the enforcement action, Bozhou IPO deployed 4 enforcers. They learnt from other administrative law enforcement agencies and gathered practical experience for the establishment of inter-departmental law enforcement coordination mechanism in Bozhou City.
