IPR Symposia to Be Held in India

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in collaboration with the George Washington University Law School, USA and the US India Business Council (USIBC) is organizing the sixth annual Intellectual Property and Corporate Law Delegation February 22-25, 2009 in New Delhi, according to the CII.

 

In addition a two-day IP Symposium will be conducted as part of George Washington University Law School India Project February 23-24, 2009.

 

The Intellectual Property Rights Symposia will continue the tradition of building bridges through interaction with industry, judicial outreach, industry –academia collaborative initiatives and discussions of policy reforms.

 

Among the objectives of the Symposia is to foster partnership between US, European and Asian Industry leaders for collaborative projects in IPRs, to gain knowledge on the comparison between Europe, US and Japan in patent related cases and to disseminate international practices in IP protection and enforcement.
