Recently, Shanghai Municipal IP Joint Meeting Office held 2012 Shanghai Patented Technology Transformation Promotion Workshop and Secretary-General of the IP Joint Meeting and Director of Shanghai Municipal Intellectual Property Office Lv Guoqiang attended and delivered the workshop.
In his remarks, Lv Guoqiang pointed out that this year, the People’s Government of Shanghai promulgated new IP strategic outlines, focusing on the industrialization of intellectual property rights, innovating IP transformation ways and fully exerting the role of IP in serving economic transformation and development. At the same time, the transformation and utilization of patented technologies need joint efforts of all stakeholders. Lv expected that relevant aspects could air their requirements on patented technology industrialization at the workshop so that competent authorities could tailor services for market players in IP use.
From the aspects of enterprises, universities and colleges, research institutes, agencies and experts and scholars, the participants summed up and exchanged IP transformation experience and proposed constructive suggestions for relevant governmental departments in a bid to improve IP transformation promotion policies.
About 50 persons participated in the workshop inclusive representatives at enterprises, universities and colleges, research institutes, medical organs, agencies, industry associations and competent governmental departments.
