Recently, activities entitled "Patent protects innovation, wisdom improves life" to mark the 6th China Patent Week were conducted in Shandong province.
Based on local characteristics, cities in the province celebrated the event through various ways including holding exhibitions to promote patented technologies, disseminating IP knowledge in the street, conducting enforcement inspections, holding forums and seminars, and delivering training courses.
A batch of IP fruits in sectors including energy saving, environmental protection, bio-medicine, new material, marine resource development and utilization were displayed and attracted thousands of enterprises, research institutes, academics and IP agencies.
In a bid to create an environment where intellectual properties were well respected and protected, the cities timely publicized the process of the activities, introduced measures on managing and safeguarding patents, and reported typical IP cases via newspaper, TV, radio and the Internet.
