Gansu: Valid trademarks hit 20 thousand

According to information released by Gansu Administration for Industry and Commerce, 188 local enterprises recommended a total of 190 trademarks to apply for Gansu Famous Trademarks, in which 117 marks were selected and assessed by a panel consisting of 12 experts.

As of now, the province has owned as many as 21,658 valid trademarks, up 77.6% from 12,195 in 2008, 31 Chinese Well-known Trademarks, up 343% from 7 in 2008, 612 Gansu Famous Trademarks, up 157% from 238 in 2008, 39 trademarks on geographical indications, up 200% from 13 in 2008, and one collective mark.
