Recently, Donghai Intellectual Property Office teamed up with local Administration for Industry and Commerce, Culture and Quality Inspection to conduct a special campaign on cracking down upon intellectual property infringement and counterfeit commodities in large-scale enterprises.

During the campaign, the enforcement team investigated five wholesale and retail businesses and 15 production enterprises to check if there was any commodity with fake patent marks or trademarks.

During the enforcement, officials explained to business owners basic knowledge on intellectual property protection and required them toacquire copies of patent certifications and related documents on patented commodities from manufacturers. They also advised them establishing managing systems of patented commodities.
