Recently, Anhui Intellectual Property Office has established its first team of patent liaisons, consisting of 2,033 representatives from more than 2,000 local enterprises. Since this April, the Office has taken up the selection of patent liaisons.

Those patent liaisons will coordinate patent issues in their companies, make their companies informed about the updated information of new technology and new product development, and support their R&D personnel in filing patent applications.

For the next phase of work, the Office will enhance the management of those liaisons by setting up an evaluation and appraisal mechanism to make sure that they will play a positive role in assisting enterprises’ patenting activities.
